MEET PORSHA THOMAS

MEET PORSHA THOMAS

I’m a brand writer and digital creator living in Atlanta, GA. Since 2008, I’ve hooked startups, SMBs, and corporate brands up with copy and content strategy while creating business and lifestyle content for unbossed women. I’ve had the pleasure of writing and creating content for brands like Daily Harvest, Ecolab, Pfizer, Amazon, TikTok, GoDaddy, Mailchimp, Shopify, and Skillshare. Under my feminist media brand, GOWRKGRLS, I’m spearheading the launch of an exciting new project —think food, community, and conversations focused on women's autonomy and well-being. A few of my favorite indulgences? Good food, good wine, good branding, and True Crime.

Workshop Agenda

  • We'll meet and greet, and you'll receive a rundown of what we're covering.

  • We'll discuss the definition and significance of brand voice, examine real-world examples of shining brand personalities, and walk through the elements of crafting a brand voice.

  • We'll take a moment to jot down 3-5 personal values. As a group, we'll discuss how your personal values align with your business values and how they lay the groundwork for conveying authenticity.

  • During this phase, we'll develop your brand voice guidelines—a cheat sheet to help you maintain consistency across your platforms.

  • I'll share pointers for maintaining a consistent voice on your website, social media posts, and email campaigns. We'll also discuss when to adjust your brand tone based on where you're posting content (e.g., a LinkedIn post vs. Instagram) while maintaining your core brand personality traits.

  • We'll open the floor to address any questions that come up.

You coming?

This is a small-group workshop, so seating is (super) limited. Be sure to RSVP RN!

Sips and light bites will be provided.

What Folks Are Saying

  • "The easiest, pain-free experience."

Working with Porsha was the easiest, pain-free experience, and I can't wait to jam with her again! I was launching my first online coaching program for BIPOC creatives (and overwhelmed), and she not only broke down her feedback into digestible bites that I, as a solopreneur, could handle on my own, but she also matched my easy-going energy and built a marketing plan that felt true to my brand.

  • "An amazing strategist and a great accountability partner!"

Working with Porsha helped me fine-tune my brand and marketing strategy since launching in 2021. Porsha is an amazing strategist and a great accountability partner! I'm always excited to implement new strategies and block out time in my calendar to get straight to work right after a session. The detailed follow-up and homework I receive are invaluable pieces of added clarity and help me track my progress.
